The ACC tournament is the premier college basketball conference tournament, with tons of tradition and history.  The Hokies have had surprisingly good seeds in their short history of playing in the tournament.  including a few #4 seeds, but not a whole lot of wins in the tournament.  Last year the Hokies entered the tournament as the 8th seed, and beat Miami in the opening game 65-47.  However in round 2, they lost a heart-breaker to UNC 79-76.
