Do you like Virginia Tech's new white-out helmets for this season? There seems to be a mixed response on Twitter but from seeing them in person, well in mini-helmet form at Campus Emporium earlier this week, I think they look pretty sweet. Of course, if you dislike the helmets don't fret, we're wearing them against Austin Peay so at the very worst a few people who actually watch ESPN3 will see them.

My opinion is that Tech needs to remove all emblems related to Hokies/Turkeys/Gobblers. Most fans agree but don’t speak up for fear of being seen as unsupportive. Most opposing fans want Tech to keep these emblems in order to poke fun on game days.
Horrible. The only worse uniform / uniform item I have seen were the Denver Broncos brown and yellow throwback uniforms.
Hate these! Why don’t we just put a Snoopy emblem on the side. Remember when Hawaii’s mascot was the Rainbows? Fech!
Even Logan Thomas thinks these are UGLY. Whoever came up with this incredibly idiotic idea should be fired. Decisions like this cause us to lose to JMU’s and Temples, let alone teams like Ga. Tech . I assume we must hire WVU graduates to design our helmets.

People, it’s one friggin’ game. No one needs to call for anyone’s job over some helmet decal designs that a bunch of people think it’s ugly. If that was the case, then Oregon would have been firing people every other week and the person that designed the Maryland uniforms would be sentenced to death by stoning.
Pretty sure that playing terrible, uninspired football has more to do with losing to JMU’s and Temple’s than what the team is wearing.
I like them, but they aren’t something I want us to wear every game. One game and done is fine for a change.
Ugly. Ugly Ugly Ugly. I partially agree with Lee, although I think he was a little too harsh. But yes, ugly.
