1195072 Kendall Fuller Commits to Virginia TechIt’s been five years since Virginia Tech last landed a five star recruit.  That man was Tyrod Taylor.  Today, the Hokies landed their first out of state five star recruit in the Rivals.com recruiting era in cornerback Kendall Fuller.  The youngest Fuller brother committed to the Hokies over offers from just about every team in the country; most notably Clemson and Michigan who made up his final three.  Fuller will enroll in Blacksburg next July and sign his official LOI (Letter of Intent) this coming February.

We’ll have more on Fuller shortly.  Big day Hokies!!!

I thought LT3 was a 5 star? Or was he just a high 4?

High 4… I think he was in the 50′s or 60′s nationally on Rivals. He was the no. 1 TE though.

He was initially a 5* Tight End but didn’t have a good showing in the Army Game so they dropped him to a high 4*…….he played receiver in that game btw.

Kendall showed wisdom and maturity beyond his years in making this decision. Family support will undergird his success as a student and as a future pro. Welcome Kendall. Continue to do things right, just like your brothers, and success is guaranteed. The Hokie Nation appreciates your family.

Kendall made his decision on his own, he said that his mom and his whole family thought he was going to Clemson. He also was able to see through all the promises and flash that they showed him and saw what was truly best for him. That’s why he’s going to be a great student athlete and a great player for years many years after college.

Great pickup! Hopefully this helps us with Teller, I remember reading an article on 247sports that someone wrote saying that if we sign Fuller it would help us big time with Teller because he would love to play with Fuller and Fisher. Don’t know if it’s true but sure hope it is, Teller, Green or Reid, Hamilton would be a top 12 class in my mind we already have the best secondary class committed so far. Dont like how Fuller said he still might take official visits he shouldn’t say that after committing to Tech.
