Sour grapes won't do us any good now. I think the focus shouldn't be on the players at all. If you examine the play calling in the UNC game it looks like the coaches are lost. If Tech is on the opposition 38 yard line with 3rd and 4, the coaches have to know whether they are going for it on 4th down. Why call a pass on 3rd down? This increases the difficulty and limits the options on 4th down. The result... two incomplete passes and instead of pinning the opponent deep in their end with a punt, we give it to them with good field position. Defensively, on 3rd and 4 Tech corners and backers lay off 5 yards and give up the 3 yard first down pass way too often. Why was Grimm, a linebacker, responsible for a wide receiver on the touchdown pass in the back corner of the end zone? Bad defensive call from the bench of course. This has been a year of poor coaching and this needs to be corrected.

VT needed to spend less time complaining about 4 chop blocks 12 days earlier and prepare for a very average UNC team. Kam needs to shut his mouth and play. Good luck in the Meineke Bowl in Charlotte against ... who cares. BCS team? Holly Cow!

I figured VT colors were decided along time ago. The uniforms they are wearing tonight.....someone ought to have their asses whipped. For god's sake, McDonalds designed their interiors and employees uniforms to "calm" eaters (brown) as well as encourage speed eating (orange).
We studied it in basic psychology, yet VT has allowed their team to be dressed as McDonalds employees.Who approved this crap?
Obviously, the Carolina players feel at home with those "soothing" colors and are currently playing above their level.....Jeez, do we have to draw a picture here?
