Get to Know Bud Foster; More VT – Bama Hype

bud foster pic Get to Know Bud Foster; More VT Bama HypeWe are lucky as Hokie fans to have a lot of media outlets that get us pretty close to the Virginia Tech football program, its players, and coaches.  Not all many programs have a site like Beamerball.com that give you the kind of insight to what goes on with the program, and what the thinking of the coaches are from game to game, practice to practice.  However its still fun to read new interviews from coaches like Defensive Coordinator Bud Foster and get a little closer to their thoughts on various subjects.

I just came accross an interview that did just that.   Also, more hype on the Virginia Tech vs Alabama game (its less than 60 days away!!!)

Check out this interview with Bud on SouthernPigskin.com (a great college football website in itself).  I particularly liked the question "Is Virginia Tech a National Championship Contender", but I also like that Bud doesn't really worry about his wording (he uses terms like 'cupcake', something FB would never do) and isn't afraid to be a homer when it comes to superlatives.  Also, Donovan McNabb gets some respect from Bud.

Another linky for you courtesy of Anshey over at ProtectTurf.com.  The VT vs. Bama match-up comes up #3 on a Rutgers football blog for top matchups for 2009-10.

Go Hokies!
